Review: Pan Mee @ Dao Ma Qie Restaurant, Puchong

Random search for dinner in the neighbourhood ended up at a place called Dao Ma Qie in Bandar Puchong Utama, which specialises in Pan Mee.

Menu items were quite limited – they only had the dry/soup versions (no chilli pan mee) and some snacks like fried foochok, meatballs and assorted stuffed goodies.

Snack platter of fried fish cakes/foo chok. The fish cakes were actually pretty good – bouncy and springy to the bite.

It was a rainy day so ordered a nice hot bowl of soupy pan mee. I prefer the meet (hand shredded) over the thin/thick. 🙂

The noodles were nice with an al dente bite, although the soup could have used a bit more flavour and ingredients. Pretty basic with some woodear fungus for crunch, anchovies and bits of minced pork. Prices were reasonable for the restaurant’s setting and environment.
