Hey guys! So we’re already almost halfway through the year – how time flies! It feels like only yesterday that I drove all the way to 1Utama after work (braving the rush hour traffic) to Mak’s Chee, to try their opening promo – the limited edition Champion Milk Tea and cheesy fried wontons (review here). Five months later, I came back, this time with fam in tow, to have their ‘authentic HK wonton noodles’.
Kitchen area at the front has clear glass, so you can watch the chefs in action.
Milk tea, but in a glass, not in a muscular man bottle. :P It is rather sweet but I like the creamy flavour.
Bro and pops and the Swiss chicken dried wonton noodles. Despite the lackluster appearance, both agreed that the flavour was good although they did say that the noodles were a tad dry.
Went for the original Shrimp Wonton noodles, which came with four huge juicy shrimp wontons. To add an oomph to the otherwise bland soup, add some HK chilli sauce into the broth and be sweating like a pig in no time.
