Was at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya with mum for some shopping the other day and we had lunch at Be Lohas Vegetarian and Organic Restaurant on the LG floor because I was having a sore throat and couldn’t eat, well, pretty much everything else. Half of the shop sells organic foodstuff and merchandise, while the other is a small dining area with cosy wooden accents. Before serving us food, they gave us a small cup of ginger tea and spirulina tablets. Both mum and I had the herbal soup with brown rice, which came on a blocky wooden tray and small claypot.
Tastewise it was decent, but there isn’t much in the soup apart from tau foo pok, tofu, one mushroom, a bit of cabbage, vegetarian meat and some needle mushrooms.
The brown rice was a bit too gooey for my liking. That’s seaweed on top by the way.
At RM10.90 each, I guess it was an okay meal. They have a selection of other stuff like curry laksa and nasi lemak as well, but perhaps another time when my throat has healed.

We popped into District 21, a sports theme park of sorts. The entrance was made to look like a rusty door leading to a robot-manufacturing facility like the ones you see in Science fiction films. I didn’t have my camera with me, so these are some sucky photos from my phone. The space was not very big, but there were a couple of attractions like a bungee which was three storeys high, and the girl was screaming her head off….
There were other challenging attractions, which will probably really appeal to kids. There’s rock climbing and obstacle courses where you have to jump from one pillar to the next, monkey bars..
Entry is RM55.
