I tried Mr Dakgalbi for the first time with my good friend C,when she suggested to have Korean food for dinner. I was initially reluctant coz I don’t like eating vegetables, but I’m glad I tried it because the food there is bomb.
I was craving for their Ramyeon so I went there to grab lunch. The good thing about going there on a weekday is that there are not many customers and you get to customize your meal. Here, I ordered octopus (look at how big the portion is!) with my noodles. I couldn’t escape the veggies because they came in a set, but they were acceptable ones – tomato, onion, carrots, some sort of sengkuang, and really fat, thick mushrooms.
Then they topped it with gooey cheese. I like the savoury miso flavour of the paste that they use to stir fry the mix, and the octopus was chewy, thick and fresh.
Ok, double promoted Mr Dakgalbi. 😛
