Marble 8 is a popular steak house and fine dining establishment located close to the Petronas Twin Towers in KL. Specialising in Wagyu and Angus beef, coupled with a beautiful view of the city skyline, it is a place frequented by celebrities, the rich and the influential.  I’ve never been here before (read: can’t afford!), but got to visit it for the first time during a recent event organised by Superbrands to honour the top brands in Malaysia.

Members of the media were ushered to a lounge area on the top floor, filled with classy furniture, smooth leather seats and a bar area.

This was the amazing view of KL we got from the third floor. 🙂 Must look pretty nice at night.

Course, we weren’t there for an actual luncheon, so no steak. 😛 They did serve us some yummy finger food.  The Buffalo Wings with celery sticks were absolutely addictive, especially since they were coated in that ambrosial savoury sweet sauce and were juicy and succulent to the bite.The fried calamari was also a winner, being bouncy and well flavoured. Then there were tortillas wrapped around freshly diced tomatoes, tangy salsa, creamy avocado and juicy chicken cubes.

Probably won’t be back here (unless I hit a lottery or something), but it was a great experience. 🙂
