Hi!

I’m Eris, a freelance writer / editor from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I’ve been writing professionally for over a decade, mostly in the food, travel, and lifestyle space – but I’ve also been in news (I started my career at The Star, Malaysia’s largest English language newspaper) and had stints in education and B2B writing. I currently contribute to titles including Epicure Asia, Solitaire Magazine, Jet Gala, and Design and Architecture Magazine.

Writing has always been something I enjoyed, and this space is where I pen down my travel experiences, food reviews, and more. So if you’re a new reader, welcome! And if you’ve been with me since the beginning (this blog is officially 10 years old in 2025!) or hopped on the journey along the way, a big thank you for your support, and I hope you continue to find my writing enjoyable / helpful.
