Among LEGO’s range of products, the Botanical Collection is easily one of my favourites. Launched in 2021, it has since become one of the brand’s most popular offerings, with builds such as colourful bonsai trees, bohemian wildflowers, roses, and many more.

So of course I couldn’t miss the LEGO’s Botanical Glasshouse Experience, currently running at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur until 26 October 2025. With the tagline “Awaken Your Joy”, the pop-up is inspired by the 21354 LEGO Ideas The Botanical Garden set, and is designed to look like a glasshouse, complete with a ‘pond’, a giant rose, a gazebo, and of course, lots of LEGO blooms.

Although the space isn’t very large, it is beautifully put together. LEGO flowers are paired with fake flowers, creating trails along the perimeter of the ‘pond’. The centerpiece is the five-foot-tall pink rose built entirely from LEGO, blooming underneath a pink and white floral dome.

Another great photo opp spot: the large armchair adorned with LEGO flowers.

There will be exclusive offers, promotions, and giveaways as part of the pop-up experience, including workshops and hands-on building sessions. Remember to get this postcard from the counter at the entrance: it’s not just a nice keepsake, as if you collect all the stamps from the six stations located around the pop-up, you’ll get a LEGO passport for free!

Look out for the exquisite LEGO fashion pieces done in collaboration with the Malaysian Official Designers Association (MODA), which incorporate LEGO pieces into works by local Malaysian fashion designers. They’re on display along the Spanish steps leading to the Botanical Glasshouse.

LEGO’s Botanical Glasshouse Experience is running at Centre Court, Pavilion KL until 26 October 2025. Entrance is free (If you can resist the tempation of getting a LEGO set, that is).
