Tucked within the quiet residential area of Putra Prima in Puchong, Seven Cafe is an artsy-looking cafe with an Instagrammable interior that features lots of recycled and upcycled decor. The tables are repurposed from old window frames, while the walls are hung with quirky paintings and photos. There are many decorations made from folded paper, including an entire wall composed of paper flowers in various shades and sizes.
Despite its close proximity to where I stay, I’ve only been here once before for a simple breakfast of toast and eggs. This time I came with G. It was tea time so it didn’t warrant a meal – but we ordered drinks, waffles and some snacks.
The cafe offers free Wi-Fi so it’s a good spot to get some quiet work done on a weekday. Alternatively, come with friends and family and spend some quality time together; the cafe has simple board games like chess, checkers and snakes and ladders.
Aside from coffee, they also offer Dilmah tea.
The menu features local favourites as well as Western items. The snacks are rather limited; we had strawberry waffles and chicken nuggets. The waffles tasted extremely odd though – I think it had something to do with the jam, which had an iron-like aftertaste.
