Taiping Pao Pao Cafe, Bandar Puteri Puchong (Revisited)

I last came to Taiping Pao Pao cafe in Bandar Puteri Puchong a few months ago : review here. The fam and I were in the neighbourhood looking for hotpot, but since most of the shops had a long waiting list, we came here instead. The restaurant was quite empty even though it was a weekend.

Parents had garlic fried rice (RM6.90), which was topped with bits of shredded egg and served with a side of tomato soup. Tastewise it was okay, but the rice was a bit hard and needed more salt.

The cold ramen noodles (RM10.90)  was more impressive. Altho dubbed ‘ramen’, it tasted more like angel hair pasta, with a light tomato broth which was sweet and flavourful. The noodles were cooked al-dente and was topped with crunchy bits of bacon and fried foochuk (beancurd sheets). Good stuff!
