Food Review: Agape German Cuisine, Setiawalk Puchong

[UPDATE] This restaurant is now permanently closed.

Another German restaurant to join the legions of pork-related restaurants sprouting up in town, Agape serves affordable and tasty German fare, including roast belly, ribs, and sausages.

I was feeling ravenous so I got their Sausage Platter – 1 pc Hungarian Sausage, 1 pc Farmers Bratwurst, and 2 smaller pieces of i can’t remember what the name was but it was good – sausages. It comes served with sauerkraut, but since I don’t like it I just opted for potato salad, and three dips.

The waitress asked me a few times if I was sure that I wanted the platter because she was worried I wouldn’t be able to finish it. Pshh, Weaaaaaaaaak. I savoured everything with relish – and left totally satisfied because the pork sausages were large (easily 9 inches +), juicy, well-seasoned and flavourful. The potato salad, served cold, was firm but not too chunky or creamy, and the dips (I’m guessing mustard, some sort of mayo) were great with the meat.

Definitely one of the better pork sausage platters I’ve had, and this meal fit for a king (or at least for two mortals) only came up to RM28++.
